The Maternal Child Health Manager is responsible for the provision of patient/family centered maternal child health services. Works to coordinate care with care providers using evidenced based practice to ensure positive patient outcomes. Responsible for departmental staffing, budgeting and adherence to the safety and quality initiatives set forth by hospital administration. Responsible for working with administration for future growth within the department. Flagler Hospital Maternal Child Services includes a 10-bed labor and delivery unit, triage program, 2 operating rooms, 15 bed postpartum unit, level I nursery, and a 7-bed Level IIB NICU. Our team includes R.N., OBT’s, CST, PCT’s, and Unit Secretary. We follow AWHONN staffing recommendations and enjoy the team approach to family-centered care.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Master's Degree or Doctorate in Nursing preferred)
3 years Current Maternal Child Health Experience
3 years Progressive Nursing Leadership
Active Florida Nursing License (or currently licensed in another state). Will need Florida license to start.
Specialty Certification in Obstetrical Nursing preferred.
