Performs reception duties for Human Resources department. Provides basic information and forms to employees. Provides guidance on appropriate contact for more difficult questions. Performs clerical duties in support of the HR Department. Creates employee badges. Processes background checks for contract staff and volunteers. Creates and distributes new hire packets and processes new hires from scheduling to data entry. Orders supplies for HR. Assists HR Department with other projects as assigned.
High School or Equivalent. 1-3 years administrative experience in a high volume, fast paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Working knowledge of standard computer software. Proven ability to multi-task, maintaining attention to detail in a high volume, fast paced environment with multiple interruptions. Proven ability to quickly learn tasks. Proven ability to manage time and work independently to meet deadlines for tasks. Must meet physical and mental requirements as identified by the physical activity evaluation form. Bi-lingual spanish preferred.
