Abrazo West Campus (located at 136th Avenue and McDowell Road in Goodyear) is a 188-bed acute care hospital serving the healthcare needs of the residents of the southwest Valley since September 2003. Abrazo West Campus has been recognized for high standards of quality and safe patient care by being named a recipient of the Womenâ��s Choice Award as one of Americaâ��s Best Hospitals in Emergency Care. They are also accredited by The Joint Commission and are a Joint Commission-designated Primary Stroke Center and accredited Chest Pain Center. Employee Health Nurse
The overall employee health program in the facility is directed by Human Resources, with significant input from Nursing, Infection Control, and Infectious Disease. The EHN promotes, coordinates, and administers all aspects of occupational health services for health care professionals (HCP) in his/her Tenet facility, which includes employees and non-employees working in the facility. Non-employees included in this program may be contractors, vendors, students, volunteers and credentialed staff.

â�¢Knowledge of OSHA standards, including Injury record keeping, CDC recommendations and state Department of Public
Health regulations applicable to healthcare
â�¢Knowledge of FMLA and ADA

â�¢Ability to use analytical and critical thinking skills and draw conclusion based on documentary evidence

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Associate Degree Nursing or Diploma required.
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Bachelorâ��s Degree in Nursing or specialty occupation preferred.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Two years of nursing experience required
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Two years in Employee/Occupational Health in health care field and/or Emergency Nursing strongly preferred.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Current RN license in state board of nursing required.
