Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
A well established private practice is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join our team of 4 physicians and 2 midwives. We service a 138 bed community hospital that has a level 3 NICU.
Successful candidates will have strong interpersonal and professional skills. Will provide direct antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and well women patient care to low-to-moderate risk obstetrical and gynecological patients. Interacts and collaborates with and serves as a resource to other patient care team members in determining patient care priorities when establishing a care plan. Communicates patient's needs and responses through appropriate verbal and written communications. Shall participate in both in-office and L&D on-call schedule.
Completion of post-graduate midwifery program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME) required. At least one year of experience is preferred, but not required.
