Patient Sitter Per Diem Rotating Shift Arrowhead Campus Working under the supervision of the registered nurse, the constant observer maintains constant direct observation and visualization of identified patient(s).
Special Skills: Ability to read in English to follow oral and/or written instructions. Ability to prioritize work. Must have good customer service skills.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
Required Training: (1) For constant observers utilized exclusively with non- behavioral health patients, all related competencies must be administered and completed prior to assignment of a patient. There will be one level of competency for all constant observers in this category. (2) For constant observers utilized with behavioral health patients, all related competencies must be administered and completed prior to assignment of a patient. In addition, all regulatory training must also be completed prior to assignment of a patient. There will be one level of competency for all constant observers in this category. â��â��â��â��â��
