| Marshfield Medical Center, the Marshfield Clinic Health System flagship hospital, cares for patients from throughout central, northern and western Wisconsin. Marshfield Medical Center offers primary, secondary, tertiary and Level II Trauma Center hospital services provided by Marshfield Clinic specialists. The facility hosts nearly 40 specialties including cancer, heart and orthopedics care, as well as a 24-bed Children's Hospital equipped with the latest technology and highly-trained hospitalists and nurses providing nearly 30 pediatric specialty services, including: child abuse-neglect, gastroenterology, pediatric intensive care, neonatology, and surgery. Access to a Level II Trauma Center, ensures 24-hour availability of anesthesiologists, dedicated medical equipment, operating room facilities, physician specialists, surgeons, and trauma nurses. Lead day-to-day operations for the OB GYN, Maternal Fetal Medicine, GYN Oncology and Urology departments and serves as a liaison between physicians, administration, staff and patients. This experienced individual is responsible for financial management of these areas identifying and resolving matters to promote a safe and quality patient care environment, implements continuous process improvement and manages the performance and development of staff. The Operations Manager also assists administrators and leadership to define and execute strategic initiatives within their assigned area(s) and works with providers to maintain a clinical service delivery system that meets the clinical and financial objectives of the organization. *Position will manage the following departments: OB Gyn, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gyn Oncology and Urology. An Associate/Diploma degree requires the obtaining of a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, business administration, healthcare administration or other healthcare related field within three years of starting in the position. An annual evaluation of coursework completed towards their bachelor’s degree will be required.
- Three years of management experience; or two years of management experience with a Master’s degree
- State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.
Preferred/Optional: - Master’s degree in nursing, business administration, healthcare administration or other healthcare related field
- Four years of management experience in a healthcare field
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire
