We are looking for a Sterile Processing Supervisor for our teams at Banner Fort Collins Medical Center and McKee Medical Center in Loveland, CO. We are looking for candidates with at least one year of leadership experience. This is a working supervisor role so sterile processing experience is required. This position will work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will be on call one week and one weekend a month. This position would typically be working in a department providing patient services, support services, or administrative services. Schedules and supervises the work of assigned staff to ensure smooth work flow in the department. CORE FUNCTIONS 1. Interacts primarily with direct reports, supervisor, internal customers, and patients. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge. Requires national certification as a SPD Technician or Surgical Instrument Processor within conditional period or 6 months after assuming position. Must possess skills and abilities normally attained with 3 years of related experience. Must be proficient and have working knowledge in area of service. Must demonstrate effective communication, team building, human relations and organization skills. Must be familiar with commonly used office software and/or have the ability to learn new software applications if necessary. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
