Neonatal Clinical Practice and Education Specialist (NICU)

You would be a role model, consultant and educator while stretching your own knowledge with professionals who focus on the compassionate care of children with complex and/or chronic health problems. To maintain that extraordinary level of care we offer a highly advanced Simulation Lab to aid in Nurse training as well as parent learning. Past education modules have included important topics such as safe sleep, responding to a code blue, and assisting with central lines.
What You Need to Succeed:
For this 32-hour per week opportunity, you will need at least 5 years in the NICU and a BSN - MSN preferred – and certification in Neonatal and/or Pediatric Advance Life Support (NRP/PALS). You will also need a solid knowledge of Principles of Evidenced Based Practice and clinical assessment skills. Experience in educational curriculum development, program coordination, or staff development is also preferred.
