The University of Rochester, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, is recruiting for Assistant Professor/Associate Professor in the Division of Gynecologic Oncology to join an established Division of 6 Gynecologic Oncologists, 1 Medical Oncologist and 6 APP's. The Division of Gynecologic Oncology is part of the Wilmot Cancer Institute and the main referral center for gynecologic oncology in western and upstate New York. The Division is an active participant in NRG, GOG partners and Industry clinical trials. The Division includes a Molecular Targeted Therapeutic Laboratory with 5 PhD / MD researchers. We have recently gained approval for an ACGME accredited fellowship with 1 fellow per year. The applicant will be expected to demonstrate an interest and enthusiasm for teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Majority of time will involve direct patient care, surgery, chemotherapy as well as participation in clinical research activities.
Candidate must have an MD / DO with board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology and in Gynecologic Oncology. The applicant must be eligible for NYS license. A post-offer health assessment and drug testing is required to be performed on-site.
