Our Mother Baby Clinical Service Line works to provide world class care, outcomes and experiences for the combined services of mothers, babies and families. Our care services include perinatology, obstetrical care, newborn care, neonatology, fetal care, gynecology, minimally invasive surgery, urogynecology and perinatal mental health.
Our 50+ OB/GYNs, 20+ OB/GYN Hospitalists, Clinical Nurse Midwives, Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialists and Fetal Interventionalists deliver over 13,000 babies per year at 8 labor and delivery locations throughout the Twin Cities Metro Area, including Abbott Northwestern Hospital, a quaternary facility with a level IV NICU, United and Mercy Hospitals with level III NICUs, and 6 regional hospitals.
We are currently seeking a lead OB/GYN Physician to join our busy and collaborative team of OB/GYNs, CNPs, PAs, and CNMs in downtown St. Paul on the campus of United Hospital, a level III NICU tertiary facility. This position will provide clinical leadership (approx 16 hours per week) in a paired dyad model with the clinic manager and provide joint operational oversight for: quality/safety initiatives, operational and financial efficiency, site alignment to the organization's overall strategic vision and goals. In addition, this lead role will also provide care to a reduced patient panel to ensure work/life balance.

MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required
BE/BC with ABMS or AOA within Obstetrics and Gynecology upon hire
Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain)
Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI)
Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicable
